Linslade's Louise is spellbound in Wicked

Former Cedars student and now West End singing star takes magical role.

LINSLADE singing sensation Louise Dearman is hoping to cast a spell over audiences when she steps into the West End cast of Wicked next month.

The former Cedars Upper School pupil who has scored a major success in musical theatre, is playing the good witch Glinda.

The change of cast also sees the arrival of Joseph star Lee Mead and TV and stage star Rachel Tucker as bad witch Elphaba.

Louise starred as Cinderella in this year's panto at Milton Keynes Theatre. She has also played Eva Peron in Evita, and starred in Guys and Dolls, Whistle Down The Wind, Joseph, Grease, Kiss Me Kate and Jekyll and Hyde.

Winner of over 30 international awards, the "West End phenomenon" (The Sunday Telegraph) is now in its fourth year at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre and has already been seen by over 2.5 million people and taken in excess of 90 million at the UK Box Office.
