A loving and affectionate cat is looking to leave her foster family behind and find a new, permanent home for 2014.
Stray Cat Rescue volunteer Vicky Day, who has fostered Bella since last April, says she deserves a good home after being abused by her previous owners before she was abandoned.
Vicky said: “She arrived with four kittens and was already pregnant with her next litter. She was a very good mother to them all and even reared two extra orphan kittens with her last litter, but she has now been spayed.
“Bella had been badly treated in her original home and although she is very loving when she knows you, she easily gets stressed which makes her grumpy. “She does not like sharing her home here with other cats and is not happy.
“She needs a home without small children where she is the only pet.
“Experienced cat owners would be best because they would understand if she got stressed while settling in.
“Bella is such a beautiful and affectionate cat and is still under two years old. She deserves to have a permanent family for herself after all she has been through.”
