Bell pub’s ringing endorsement

editorial image

A Leighton public house has been given the compliment of being chosen to appear in the Good Beer Guide 2013.

Golden Bell, of Church Square, Leighton Buzzard, has been described as a welcoming, lively pub with four handpumps dispensing two regular and two constantly changing guests.

Secretary of South Bedfordshire CAMRA branch, Mike Coombes, said: “It has been chosen for its consistant high quality real ales and a good well run pub that people like to go into.

“At a time when pubs are closing left right and centre, the Golden Bell is giving customers what they want, great service.”

The Swan Hotel in Leighton High Street has also been named in the guide.
