Burglars steal car from drive
Leighton family's vehicle taken
Police are appealing for witnesses after burglars stole a car from a drive.
It happened between Sunday evening (July 25) and Tuesday morning (July 27) in Plantation Road, Leighton Buzzard, where offenders smashed a rear window and gained entry to a property and stole keys to a 51 registered silver Ford Puma.
Det Sgt Zoe Asbury, investigating, wants to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspicious, or any unfamiliar vehicles, in the area.
She also wants to remind householders to double lock UPVC doors at night, by lifting the handle and turning the key, and ensure car keys are out of sight.
