Ceiling collapses in Leighton’s Tesco

editorial image

A supermarket ceiling has collapsed and the store is in the process of being closed as customers are ushered to safety.

A reader contacted the LBO after hearing of the incident in Tesco of Vimy Road, Leighton Buzzard, after she had finished her shopping and was making her way out of the store.

It seems that part of the ceiling fell in by the kiosk and there is now a big hole, the size of a car, with lots of water flooding in.

If you know anymore or witnessed the incident, get in touch.
