Charities benefit from gigs

A charity gig with local bands The Palms and Blues Before Midnight took place at Brooklands Social Club.

It was organised by business couple Mike and Ann-Marie Neary of Mett Ltd who are based in Grovebury Road.

Mike is a guitarist with Blues Before Midnight.

Three charities - Willen Hospice, PTSD Resolution and Keech Hospice Care - were presented with £520 cheques, as a result of the fundraiser, at Mett Ltd’s training base.

This included a £100 donation to each charity by LB Connect, of which the couple are both members.
