A large majority of people can’t start the day without a cup of coffee and a Leighton writer hopes that is the case for his new collection of short stories.

Author of Dark and Deep: Ten Coffee Break Crime Stories, Dave Sivers is thrilled to announce his stories are now available as an e-book for download to Kindles and Kindle apps.

Dave said: “Serial killers, revenge seekers, trained assassins, and a rather sinister teddy bear they are all here in this chilling little collection. There are ten in total - enough to get you through a fortnight of mid-morning coffee breaks.”

Dave’s debut novel, A Sorcerer Slain, was published as an e-book last year and a sequel, Inquisitor Royal, followed in January 2012.

He added: “Many of the tales will have your hair standing on end, but my grim brand of humour is never far away. So put the kettle on, break out the biscuits, and prepare to visit some dark places.”
