Driver in collision with wall

A driver in his 50s was taken to hospital following an early morning road collision with a wall earlier today.

The motorist was driving along Toddington Road, Tebworth, close to The Queens Head pub, when the vehicle left the road. Police closed the highway for 90 minutes to allow for recovery and for the injured man to be taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital for treatment. It reopened at about 7am.

East of England Ambulance Service spokesman, Gary Sanderson, said: “A man, who we believe to be in his 50s, was taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital with minor injuries.”
