East Leighton expansion plan

THE public have until next Wednesday to comment on plans to build 270 homes and infrastructure, which includes a cemetery and allotments, on a site at Clipstone Brook known as The Stearn Land.

The scheme, submitted by Arnold Whites, is the third part of an overall plan to build 2,500 homes in east Leighton and follows other applications for Chamberlains Barn and Clipstone Park.

Infrastructure includes a cemetery, open space, and access roads. The site, which is currently used for pasture land, abuts Vandyke Road and Clipstone Lane and will be next to the Clipstone Park development.

The deadline for comments on the application is February 15.
