A driver was left “badly shaken” after an accident on the A4146 Stoke Hammond bypass, which has resulted in a police appeal for witnesses.

At about 6.40pm on Saturday, May 31 a silver Toyota Yaris travelling northbound was involved in a collision on the bypass between the Linslade roundabout and Newton Longville roundabout.

The Toyota left the road, mounted a grass verge and sustained damage.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have seen the collision or who were travelling northbound towards Milton Keynes from the direction of Aylesbury and were overtaken by a Black Audi S5 and a dark-coloured new-style Mazda saloon.

Investigating officer PC Liz Johnson, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing at Thames Valley Police, said: “The 28-year-old female driver of the Toyota was not injured as a result of the collision but was left badly shaken.

“I would also ask the drivers of the Black Audi S5 and dark coloured Mazda saloon to come forward to assist police with their enquiries.”

Call PC Johnson via the police enquiry centre on 101 quoting URN 1274 of 31/5, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
