Weather conditions during this week’s morning rush hour was met with numerous road collisions across Leighton Buzzard, forcing Beds Police to warn drivers to travel safely in the fog.
At 6.40am this morning a Vauxhall Corsa ended up on its side at the roundabout on Leighton Road while travelling down the A4146, but the driver did not sustain any injuries.
Yesterday morning (Thursday) a woman in her 20s suffered injuries after her car was in collision with a lorry on the A5 in Dunstable, which was consequently closed in both directions at A505 junction.
And there were long delays for drivers on the A4146 Stoke Hammond bypass towards Milton Keynes after an earlier collision yesterday.
Beds Police are warning drivers to drive to the conditions by slowing down and making sure they have their lights on in the fog.
