The free exercise and information day is being hosted by the Leighton Buzzard and District Multiple Sclerosis Society (LBMSS) and is open to all.

Leighton-Linslade Council awarded LBMSS a small grant so they could plan the exercise-themed event for people with neurological conditions.

Chilterns Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre have kindly agreed to accommodate the event and provide expertise.

The event will include advice, information and practice. The morning will focus primarily on physical activity and during the afternoon, cognition and fatigue management will also be covered.

A light lunch will be included, courtesy of LBMSS. Carers are welcome.

The event is being held at the Chilterns MS Therapy Centre, Oakwood Close, Wendover, HP22 5LX, on Saturday, May 28, from 10am until 3pm.

A spokeswoman for LBMSS said: “It may be possible to provide transport for those living in theLeighton Buzzard & District area. Where we are unable to provide assistance, we will endeavour to put people coming from a similar area in touch with each other, in order that they can car-share, if wished.

“When booking, please include information about any dietary limitations and transport needs.

“It would also be helpful to know the primary neurological diagnosis, in order that the presenters can ensure the event is relevant to you.”
