Leighton Festival puts Harry Potter stars in the Christmas mood

It was a weekend dedicated to celebrating the community’s Christmas spirit and the people of Leighton Buzzard were more than happy to join in on this year’s festivities, writes Amanda Devlin.

On Friday night, Leighton Buzzard’s Christmas Festival 2012 got off to an explosive start with the official switch-on of the Christmas lights, followed by the fireworks display that kicked started the celebrations with a bang!

Organisers of the highly-anticipated weekend were lucky enough to have Ellie Darcey-Alden and Ryan Turner, who both starred in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two, switch on the lights.
