Leighton man dies in motorbike accident

TRIBUTES have been paid to a Leighton man who died following a motorbike crash in Manchester.

Sean Edmund Burke, 22, of Summer Street, was riding his Kawasaki motorbike when it hit a tree at about 2.15pm on Friday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and no other vehicles or people were involved in the collision police say.

Sean went to school at Clipstone Brook Lower, Brooklands and Leighton Middle Schools, and Cedars Upper.

Police in Manchester are still investigating and appealing for witnesses.
