Leighton MP supports World Cup bid
Andrew Selous signs petition
England's World Cup bid has received support from a special guest in the form of MP Andrew Selous.
Mr Selous, who is the MP for South West Bedfordshire joined shoppers in Morrisons, Leighton Buzzard on Saturday and to show his support he signed the petition that has been organised by Morrisons stores all over the country.
One million people have already signed and the store is looking for two million to sign by the end of September.
England is one of six countries bidding to host the tournament with the decision being made in Zurich in December.
Mr Selous said: "I am delighted to support this campaign. England has a very strong bid and it would be a great boost to the country to be chosen.
