Leighton Police hunt violent attacker.
Police are hunting a violent attacker who punched a man in the face leaving him with broken teeth, and a broken jaw, and facing an operation to have a titanium plate fitted to his skull.
The victim had been at The Lancer in Lake Street, Leighton, on October 6. He left some time between 1am and 2am and walked down nearby Bell Alley.
Moments later he was approached by four men, three black and one white. The white man lashed out and landed one punch. It’s believed he was either wearing a knuckle-duster or a set of large gold rings. His victim, a Bedford man aged 46, was knocked to the ground while the gang ran off.
Leighton Police are now looking for the white assailant, described as mid 20s, with pale skin, clean shaven, with cropped blond hair and wearing a blue jacket and jeans. Anyone with information to Pc Robert Comb on 101.
