Three men steal cash after threatening staff
Police in Leighton Buzzard are appealing for information following an armed robbery at the Lancer Public House in Leighton Buzzard on Tuesday night (August 24).
Three men entered the Lake Street pub at around 11.30pm as the staff were closing up for the night. One had a knife and another is believed to have carried a handgun.
A considerable amount of cash was handed over and the offenders fled the scene on foot via the back of the pub.
It is believed that all three males were black and in their 20's.
The man believed to be in possession of a handgun is described as having a stocky build. He was wearing a navy blue hoody with the hood up and a dark coloured scarf across the lower part of his face.
The offender in possession of the knife was of a slim build and was also wearing a dark coloured hoody with the hood up and a bandana over his face.
The final offender was also wearing a hoody with the hood raised.
