Leighton teenage arrested after cinema blaze

Probe into suspected arson attack

A teenager from Leighton Buzzard is one of two people arrested following a fire at the old Odeon cinema in Aylesbury on Thursday evening.

A police spokeswoman said a and an 18-year-old woman from Leighton has been arrested on suspicion of arson, along with a 26-year-old man from Aylesbury

They have been bailed until September 15.

More than 30 firefighters attended the blaze in Cambridge Street, which damaged around 10 per cent of the ground floor of the former art deco cinema.
