Man attacked for his wallet and phone
Police are hunting offenders of a violent attack in Leighton.
A 30-year-old man who was attacked at the entrance to a park in Mentmore Road on October 8 at 11.45pm was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance by three men while walking along the road talking on his mobile phone.
The victim fell to the floor where he was kicked repeatedly and his wallet and mobile phone were taken from him.
All three offenders are described as white men, between 18 – 19 years old and between 5’10” and 6’ tall. One wore a balaclava and black coat and another had brown/blonde hair and wore a grey hooded top.
The officer in charge of both investigations, Detective Constable Surfraz Hussain, from the South Bedfordshire Robbery Unit, is keen to trace anyone who saw these incidents and can help with these investigations.
