Man charged with attempted murder
Knife attack in Leighton street
A 45-year-old Milton Keynes man has been charged with attempted murder following a knife attack in Hockliffe Road, Leighton, on Monday.
Stephen Dalzell of Old Wolverton Road, Wolverton, appeared at Luton Magistrate's Court today (Wednesday) and was remanded to Luton Crown Court on September 21.
In the attack, the victim suffered neck injuries and was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital where he is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
The officer leading the investigation, Det Sgt Mark Devine, is keen to trace anyone who saw the wounded man prior to him being found by a passing motorist at about 7am or who has information about the attack.
DS Devine said: "We would like to appeal anyone who has any information to come forward and help piece together the circumstances surrounding how this man was injured."
