More kids to be taught to play music

THE Arts Council England will create a ‘music hub’ for Central Beds that will give children the opportunity to learn a musical instrument from an early age.

‘Inspiring Music’ – with already 2,000 children taking part in their Sing On, Sing Out initiative – will form strong partnerships with schools and communities to provide quality music education.

Councillor Mark Versallion said: “Schools can draw on the hub to support and expand teaching in schools.”
