Pensioner found dead

An inquest has been opened into the death of an 80-year-old Leighton woman who was found dead at her sheltered housing on Wednesday.

Winifred Bernadette Monahan, of St Georges Court, St Georges Close, was certified dead at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. She had suffered a brain haemorrhage.
