Martin Grant Homes is inviting the public to attend an exhibition on Thursday about proposals for 52 new homes on land to the north of Wing.
The site is identified in the Draft Wing Neighbourhood Plan as Meadow Way and over the past year the developer has been consulting with members of the Wing Neighbourhood Plan Group, the community and other stakeholders in the village.
This included a two-day developer forum in November 2013, and a stakeholder workshop in February.
The exhibition will give members of the public a chance to view the latest proposals which, in addition to 52 new homes, will include a children’s play area and areas of public open space, as well as an important direct connection to the amenity and wildlife site Long Spinney.
Members of the project team will be available to answer questions and to discuss how the plans have developed.
The exhibition will take place between 4pm to 8pm at Wing Village Hall (small hall).
Those not able to attend the event but wanting to find out further information on the proposals can do so in a number of ways:

Andrew Wilson, director of strategic land at Martin Grant, said: “Over the course of the last year, we have been working closely with the parish council and other members of the community in order to refine plans for new homes for Wing.
“We have really valued the time and effort put in by the parish council and local community. Our plans have changed considerably in response to comments and suggestions received and we are delighted that our site has been identified in the village’s Draft Neighbourhood Plan. We look forward to discussing our plans further on May 8.”
