Public’s opinion wanted on council’s Short Breaks Service
The public are being asked their opinion on a service that gives disabled children and young people the chance to have some time out from their day-to-day routines and responsibilities.
Central Bedfordshire Council are reviewing their Short Breaks Services Statement, which provides information about who can access short breaks, the range or short breaks available, and how the short breaks service will meet the needs of disabled children and young people aged 0-18 and their families.
Spokesman for children’s services, Councillor Mark Versallion, said: “We want to hear from as many families as possible to help us make sure that our services are meeting the needs of disabled children and young people and their families.”
Have your say and fill out a paper copy at your local library or council office or online at www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/consultations before November 26.
