Pumped up to celebrate
Tour of Grundfos Pumps refurbished offices. The Sales Department.
A long-established Leighton Buzzard company certainly had the energy for a VIP party to celebrate a £1.2million refurbishment of its building on Friday.
That’s because the revamped Grundfos Pumps four-storey building in Grovebury Road has incorporated as many energy efficient measures as possible.
As well as celebrating the refurbishment of the building, which is the headquarters for its UK sales and marketing operation, the event also marked how it was exactly 40 years since the firm moved into the town after starting life in the UK back in 1964 in Bletchley.
The Danish Ambassador Anne Steffensen, MP Andrew Selous, Leighton’s mayor Alan Brandham, as well as senior members of the Grundfos management from both Denmark and the UK, joined with customers who were treated to a street party themed event.
