Sea creatures are part of the harvest too!

Pupils dress up as fish

LINSLADE Lower School celebrated harvest festival with a theme of the harvest of the sea.

The youngest pupils dressed as fish and sea creatures with fabulous sharks, starfish, octopuses and colourful fish.

All the children enjoyed an assembly with specially invited guests from the neighbouring community. They sang songs, displayed harvest pictures and shared poems.

Headteacher Hazel Farlam said: "Our harvest celebration this year was very special as we were able to share the joyous occasion with our local community.

"I was very proud of our Year 4 children who delivered the harvest boxes with such care and concern.

"Thank you to all our parents who donated the wonderful produce. We have received numerous letters of thanks from the local residents for sharing this occasion with them."
