“The donations have now passed the £40,000 mark.”

His first challenge was to swim the English Channel, he then went onto walk from London to Bournemouth, in just his swimwear, for Everton’s FA Cup game at Dean Court.

His latest challenge began on Monday, April 11, he said: “This season I have been going to Everton games in my speedos and I have raised thousands through donations from fans, the home and away fans have been amazing, very supportive and have donated lots of money.

“The stewards and police have been supportive as well, it is probably not what they are used to seeing.”
