Summer’s on the way, but so is hosepipe ban

CUSTOMERS of Veolia water are reminded of the hosepipe ban that comes into effect tomorrow (April 5).

The ban includes restrictions on watering plants, cleaning windows, filling a paddling pool and washing motor vehicles.

The move follows the driest two-year period since 1900 due to exceptionally low rainfall.
