Transformation of pub will go ahead

editorial image

A planning application to transform a pub into two houses has been approved by Aylesbury Vale District Council.

The Golden Rule public house, Main Road, South Dagnall, closed down in 2008 and since then it has been proposed to change it into two semi-detached properties.

The parish council had been concerned that the plans only provide for three off-street parking spaces for the houses. They asked that off-street parking be in excess of the usual minimum of three spaces because of the close proximity of the A1416.
