UPDATE: Woman taken to hospital following collision

A woman has been taken to hospital after a road traffic collision on Hockliffe Road.

Fire crew from Toddington attended the scene after being called at 5.23pm this evening with reports of car in collision with tree or street lighting.

The woman was not trapped, but fire fighters gave first aid assisting paramedic at scene and made the vehicle safe until the ambulance arrived.

Police have closed Hockliffe Road in Tebworth in both directions between the Wingfield Road junction and the A5 junction.

Incident reported to be under control at 6.40pm.
