Wife's plea to missing Linslade man

Do you know whereabouts of Martin King

The wife of a Linslade man last seen six days ago has made a heartfelt plea for him to come home.

Martin King, of Rock Lane, left his home on Friday, leaving behind all his personal belongings and taking only a small amount of cash.

Mr King's wife Mary has issued this appeal: "Martin, you haven't done anything wrong, whatever has happened we can put it right together. Please come home."

Detective Constable Vicky Willett of the Beds Police missing person unit said: "We are concerned about Mr King's welfare as he is described by family and friends as a very conscientious man who would not normally do something like this.

"He lived in Bognor Regis area as a child and knows the area, so it is possible he has made his way there.

"We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him, or knows where he is.

"His family are desperately worried about him and want him to come home.

"If Mr King sees this appeal, I'd ask him to contact his nearest police station to let us know he's safe and well."

Mr King is white, 5ft 11ins tall, heavy built with blue eyes and short grey hair.

He is believed to be wearing a polo shirt, jeans and brown trainers with a red stripe.

He also wears a gold wedding band and signet ring and a silver watch.

Anyone with information that can help police find Mr King should contact any police station, or telephone 01234 841212.
