Leighton charity KidsOut is offering places for an iconic London-based marathon.

The Royal Parks Half marathon on October 12 is one of the most popular half marathons in the UK, taking in views of London’s most renowned attractions.

Past marathon runners support KidsOut for a range of reasons, such as Leighton security guard Jacob Angus who ran the Milton Keynes Half Marathon for the charity in March to raise funds for Chloe. After experiencing domestic violence for two years, Chloe fled to a women’s refuge with her children. She was 34 weeks pregnant while the abuse was happening which through the stress, caused complications for her unborn daughter.

Thanks to the kind donations of the local community, more than £350 was raised for Chloe providing brand new toy boxes for her children and many other children who have moved into a new home.
