The public will be able to view historical items from centuries gone by at St John the Baptist Church, Stanbridge this weekend.
The church is holding an open day on Saturday from 10am to 4pm. On display will be items relating to the past 750 years, many of which have only recently come to light.
This includes the original plans of the restoration of 1892. There will be an updated history of the church to view as well as old maps, record books and photographs relating also to the village.
A church spokesman said: “Come along and enjoy our beautiful 13th century church. Visitors will receive a warm welcome from our guides who will be on hand to answer questions . There will be no charge but light refreshments and ploughman’s lunches will be available.”
