Piano virtuoso returns to Leighton Buzzard Theatre

Leighton Buzzard Music begin their new concert season with a return visit of the amazing Russian pianist Alexander Ardakov to Leighton Buzzard Theatre on September 18..
Since leaving Russia in 1991and now resident in the UK,Alexander has built an international reputation taking him to New York's Carnegie Hall as well as the major UK concert venues. He has recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM.
His concert will include music by Tchaikovsky,four Chopin polonaises, three Scriabin studies, while the crowning work will be Mussorgsky's magnificent "Pictures at an Exhibition".
This great masterpiece - a musical depiction of real pictures by an artist friend of the composers -is well known in Ravel's orchestration.
