A playgroup has been celebrating after its latest Ofsted inspection.

The Bumblebees Playgroup in Leighton Buzzard has been awarded back its ‘Good’ rating following its latest inspection made on February 29.

Staff and the committee of the playgroup have worked hard to address the issues raised following an Ofsted report in November 2015.

A spokesperson for the playgroup said: “Everyone is absolutely over the moon, and has worked really hard to meet Ofsted’s requirements to make this happen.

“We would like to thank all our parents who have been so supportive throughout.

“We are looking forward to the future and will continue to maintain and develop our standards.”

Bumblebees Playgroup offers term time sessions Monday to Friday 8.50am to 11.50am and noon to 3pm, plus a limited number of all day sessions.

Bumblebees is a small pre-school group established in 1989 whose aim is to provide a warm and friendly, healthy, caring, stimulating and structured environment for children to grow and learn whilst having fun.

The group caters for up to 34 children in each session, aged between 2 and 5 years old.

It is based in the grounds of Beaudesert Lower School.
