Overhead line problems see change to train times
Due to problems with overhead lines in the Watford to Hemel Hempstead area London Midland will be operating a special timetable until further notice. Leighton's commuters are warned of changes to the timetable.
Network Rail engineers are currently working to solve the problem.
In the meantime valid London Midland and Virgin tickets are being accepted on both operators' trains in a reciprocal agreement.
London Midland services will operate north from London Euston at 13, 24, 46 and 54 minutes past the hour, with the 24 minutes-past service putting in extra stops at Kings Langley and Apsley.
London Midland services heading into London will depart Northampton at 05, 25 and 50 minutes past, and Milton Keynes at 47 calling at Kings Langley and Apsley.
The usual timetable services to and from Tring have been cancelled until further notice. London Midland is aiming to strengthen its peak-time services from Euston by running three further 12-carriage trains.
