Morrisons staff raised over £1000 for Sue Ryder at a three day static bike ride from Friday, July 10, till Sunday, June 12.

Staff at the Lake Street store and the cycling club clocked over 54 miles a day over the three days.

Katharine Smith, Morrisons Community Champion, said: “I would like to say a big thank you to everybody who helped us to make this event a huge success, Morrisons generous customers, Morrisons Staff, Leighton Buzzard Cycling Club, AnyTime Fitness who gave us two bikes for the event, Grovebury Cars who gave us a donation and Pierre Cochon who donated t-shirts for the event.

“It was a huge success raising £1,228 for Sue Ryder.”

The hospice provides neurological care for people facing life-changing illnesses.
