Wanted - 2 screaming shrunken grannies for Milton Keynes Theatre

Auditions this Saturday for Roald Dahl show.

Calling all stage struck young girls! If you are under 4' 4" and between seven and 10 years old, perhaps you fancy becoming a shrunken granny for a week and strutting your stuff on stage!

The Birmingham Stage Company is bringing its exciting production of George's Marvellous Medicine, one of Roald Dahl's most popular stories, to Milton Keynes Theatre in October.

They want to find two young girls to play the part of George's granny when she shrinks to mini size having previously grown to 20ft tall after drinking George's magic medicine.

Although this is not a very big part, girls, you will get to scream as loud as you can and run rings around the other actors.

You also get to make an appearance in another scene as a large chicken.

It is a great opportunity to appear on stage with a professional acting company and to perform in front of all your friends and family.

Auditions will be held at Milton Keynes Theatre on Saturday (August 7) at 10am but you should register your interest in advance by calling 01908 547651.

No previous acting experience is required.
