Win a walk-on part in Sister Act show

editorial image

Hallelujah! The smash hit musical Sister Act is finally coming to Milton Keynes for two weeks from Tuesday, June 19.

To celebrate, and in a flash of divine inspiration, we have joined forces with Milton Keynes Theatre to offer a prize that is simply heaven-sent.

Not only could you win five tickets for you and four of your friends to see Sister Act – The Musical at Milton Keynes Theatre on Wednesday, June 20, you also have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of show yourself.

If you fancy yourself as a swinging soul Sister you will get the exclusive chance to win an optional on-stage appearance on the night. Can I get an Amen?!

Based on the film of the same name which saw Whoopi Goldberg as the infamous show-tune singing nun, Deloris Van Cartier, this divinely funny, sequined extravaganza played to over a million people at the London Palladium during its West End run and is currently a huge hit on Broadway.

Starring Denise Black (Coronation Street), Michael Starke (Brookside) and Cynthia Erivo, now the habit is hitting the road so everyone can see why audiences fell in love with disco diva Deloris – the funniest and funkiest nun on the run.

When Deloris witnesses a murder, she is put in the one place the cops are sure she won’t be found – a convent.

Disguised as a nun she quickly finds fans among her fellow ‘sisters’ but makes the wrong impression on the convent’s strict Mother Superior.

When she turns her attention to the church’s off-key choir, her cover could be blown for good.

This fabulous, family-friendly, feel-good show is packed with songs inspired by Motown, funk, soul and disco and will leave you singing ‘take me to heaven!’

You don’t need to get on your knees and pray to win the prize. To be in with a chance simply answer the following question:

Q: What is the name of the black and white clothes nuns wear?

Send your answers and your name, address and phone number to connie.primmer@jpress.co.uk or to Media House, 39 Upper George Street, Luton, LU1 2RD by Wednesday, June 6.

You must include your phone number and email address if you have one in order for us to contact you if you are the winner.
