Worry Dolls gig celebrates Record Store Day releases

A Leighton record store is holding a gig night to celebrate the announcement of their special music releases for Record Store Day (RSD).

Black Circle Records UK, of Roebuck Mews, are inviting residents to come along this evening (Tuesday, March 21) and find out which limited edition records will be on sale in April, as part of RSD.

Meanwhile, tonight, guests will be treated to a performance from indie-folk female due, the Worry Dolls, aka Zoe and Rosie.

The girls will be on hand to entertain punters and celebrate the exciting record announcements, while they will also be signing their new album ‘Go Get Gone’.

Owner, David Kosky, explained: “Its the 10th anniversary of Record Store Day this year.

“It started in America and each year, on the third or fourth Saturday in April, we celebrate independent record shops.

“We release and sell limited edition records, from rock and dance to soul and punk.

“Today’s launch is in conjunction with BBC Music, just after six o clock and the Worry Dolls have lovely harmonies and great voices.”

The gig and RSD announcement night starts at 5.30pm and the band will be on at 5.45pm for half an hour.

Entry is free and there will be complimentary cake and coffee.

The Worry Dolls CD is priced at £10.99 and the LP is £16.99
