Small fry given a tour
YOUNGSTERS from Leedon Lower School got their skates on for a visit to supermarket chain Morrison's store in Lake Street, Leighton.
The small fry were given a guided tour of the store's fish counter where they learned about the different species and how and where they live in the wild. The fishmonger showed he was dab hand at preparing the catch for the customer.
The fish manager said: "I think it is very important that young people know where their food comes from, and letting them see the fish up close and ask lots of questions hopefully did that in a fun way."
