Football: Graham keen to stay on as Town chairman ‘long term’

LEIGHTON Town chairman Richard Graham says his short term plan for the club has been a success, and that he’s looking to continue his good work into next season and beyond.

The 47-year-old entrepreneur is coming to the end of his first year in the top job, and is hoping to be re-elected into the post at next week’s annual general meeting.

Graham will face club members next Wednesday to put forward his case to stay on as chairman for another 12 months, and at the moment it’s unclear as to whether or not he will face any opposition.

He says he wants to remain at the helm, declaring that his short team plan has gone well, and that he has bigger plans for the future, both on and off the pitch.
