Leighton boys represent MK Dons
Corinthians duo play for Dons youth team
TWO boys from Leighton were included in the MK Dons development centre team in the East Anglia Premiership indoor tournament in Luton.
Andy McGlinchey and Alex Eaton played against School of Excellence teams from Luton FC, Rushden and Diamonds FC, Northampton FC and Cambridge FC.
Andy and Alex were selected for the MK Dons U13and U14 teams and Alex even played one game in goal for MK Dons U15s.
Both boys, who also play for Leighton Corinthians, put in outstanding performances especially playing up a yearwith the U14s.
Andy hit eight goals, three of which were scored with the U14s as theyfinished in third place.
Alex was kept busy in goal and managed three clean sheets for the U14s.
Both boys are looking forward to taking this experience back to their Leighton club in the New Year.
