This was the first county cup round for United. Jona from the outset thundered down the right wing, delivering a perfectly weighted ball into the box, for Jordan to expertly head home. Jona's hard work paid off and he soon found the goal himself. Neel, Louis and Ollie couldn't be faulted and moved the ball about well, allowing Harry time for great movement forward.
Luton should not have been underestimated, and their quick pace and fierce strike couldn't be stopped by Charlie Cooper.
United were all about attack, with Elliot in great form going forward, and the quality of Brett's corner soon found Liam in space to make it three.
Luton were still not finished and forced another goal from a converted penalty kick. Goals for Leighton were not short, and David's first of three was his reward for hard work.The half closed with Jake getting a piece of the action, with a glorious strike rebounding off the bar.The second half saw MOM David complete his hat-trick, with his last goal conceivably his best. United still wanted more and Charlie Beary's great-timed run and shot made it seven. The last goal was a great boost for Luke, and wrapped up a brilliant Leighton performance.
