Buckle rubbishes Cunnington link

Hatters boss Paul Buckle has dismissed reports linking Luton with a bid for Tamworth target man Adam Cunnington, writes Mark Wood.

The 25-year-old striker has netted 13 league goals this season for the Lambs with Sky Sports News claiming Tamworth had received bids from Luton, Grimsby Town and Wrexham.

Cunnington has also been linked with moves to Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest and Bristol City in recent months, but Buckle rubbished the claims that Luton had made an offer, saying: “No. I don’t know where that’s come from.

“No chance, we haven’t done that.”
