Hatters loan Nash to Leighton Town

Jerry Nash

Jerry Nash

Youngster Jerry Nash has joined Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central side Leighton Town on loan, writes Mike Simmonds.

The teenager is hoping to win a professional contract at the end of this year and this move can only help his progress according to Town boss Paul Buckle.

Nash made his first team debut last season in the FA Trophy clash at Hinckley United, the same time as striker Jake Woolley, who is starting to force his way into the first team plans.

The striker has come off the bench in Luton’s last three Blue Square Bet Premier matches, almost scoring against Ebbsfleet and then setting up Stuart Fleetwood for his goal on Saturday.
