Town down to third as O’Connor scores again

HATTERS dropped down to third in the Blue Square Bet Premier after they weren’t in action yesterday afternoon.

Town have moved to the summit by beating Hyde on Friday night thanks to goals from JJ O’Donnell and Stuart Fleetwood.

But former striker Aaron O’Connor scored his fourth and fifth goals of the campaign in Newport County’s 2-1 victory over Lincoln City as they regained top spot.

Relegated Hereford United also went above Luton as they continued their promising start with a 3-0 triumph at Alfreton Town.
