Woolley marks Canaries debut with a goal

Town youngster Jake Woolley netted his first senior goal as Hitchin Town earned a 1-1 draw against St Albans in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division last week, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 19-year-old netted after 56 minutes of his debut as Hatters boss Paul Buckle said: “I’m pleased he’s got off to a flying start, Jake’s someone who we’ve got high hopes for.2

Alex Lacey, was man of the match in his first game for Eastleigh in a 5-0 win over Billericay last week, but was without a match as the Conference South game with Boreham Wood was called off.

Goalkeeper Lewis Kidd had the whole 90 minutes as Banbury won 2-1 at Bideford in Conference South, but then saw his side beaten 3-1 by Arlesey Town on Tuesday night.
