Gail back on track with gold medal

Victory for athlete at British Masters

Leighton Buzzard Athletic Club runner Gail Duckworth was back on track winning a National Championship gold medal.

Having had two nightmare years of not competing through injury Gail won the Women's 50-54 age category British Masters 3K Indoor Championship at Lee Valley Enfield.

Gail took the lead from the gun and her time of 11 mins 23 secs was only 13 secs slower than when she last raced in the same event two years ago.
