Midlands U18s to face Blues and Saints Academy players
Midlands U18s will play Bedford Academy and Northampton Saints Academy in their build-up to next month’s Divisional Festival at Broadstreet.
The Midlands held two training sessions at Loughborough GS before Christmas and met up again at King Henry VIII School in Coventry at the weekend.
They will step up their preparations by playing Bedford’s Academy at Goldington Road on Sunday at 2pm, which will be followed by a video analysis session and further training at Bedford Modern School on January 29.
The Midlands will then play Northampton Saints Academy at Broadstreet RFC on February 5 at 1pm in their final warm-up match before the Festival.
The squad will return to Bedford Modern School on February 12 for a further video analysis session and training ahead of the opening match in the Divisional Festival against London & SE at Broadstreet on Friday, February 17, at 2pm.
The Midlands second match in the Festival is against the North at Broadstreet on February 19, at 11am.
